Cyclepassion Calendar 2012

the 2012 production was one of the toughest we ever had. Our last photo shooting was on the 13th of August during the MTB Worldcup in Nové Mĕsto na Moravĕ (CZ). Nevertheless we managed to finish the calendar until Eurobike in beginning of September and the result is gorgeous. In September and October we worked on our new website www.cyclepassion.com and we also changed our logistic partner to reduce delivery times. For the 2012 calendar we changed our concept slightly. Our plan was to put more focus on the individual athlete. Therefore we printed the calendar double-sided. So on one hand the “sexy” photo and on the backside just black and white. The backsides shows mostly action photos or the athlete`s legs. We also added a small story about each athlete. Giving more information about the athlete as a person with a regular life and motivation beyond racing and winning. For the production of the calendar our whole production was travelling a lot: WC MTB Offenburg (Germany), WC MTB Nové Mĕsto na Moravĕ (CZ) and Tour de France. Especially the photo session during TdF was a hard proof for the athletes. Dealing with the crowds, the fans and the curious tourists wasn’t an easy task, but even when the temperatures started to drop well below ‘comfortable’, everybody tried to keep his smile and enthusiasm.
