It can be argued that the action from throughout the season has been accumulating, to explode in a single spectacular competition, the one we all wait for every year, the Red Bull Joyride at Crankworx Whistler. The course has been redesigned to present the riders with new challenges and the FMB World Tour championship title is far from certain. Sadly, the current leader, Brett Rheeder won’t be competing at Crankworx Whistler this week due to an injury. This leaves the door wide open for Sam Pilgrim sitting in 2nd and Martin Soderstrom currently 3rd, to take away big points. Saying this, let’s not forget the world’s best are coming to compete. Last year’s champion, Thomas Genon will be there raring to steal another win and despite attending fewer competitions this season, there is no chance that the FMB World Tour 2012 Champion Brandon Semenuk is going to miss Red Bull Joyride at Crankworx Whistler . Take a look at the rider line up and you will see that the odds are tight.
